AdiumStatus is a free software for Adium that functions as a status logger similar to Trillian. It allows users to keep track of their contacts' online and offline status seamlessly.
The program was created to address the lack of a Trillian-esque status logger in Adium. Although Adium Status Logger might not be as easy to set up as Trillian's logger, especially during the early stages, it can still work as well as Trillian's without requiring any further effort on your part.
To install the program, you need to run the script and enter your contact's screen names. Once that is done, hit “Finish” and all the necessary scripts are created and placed in the "Adium Status Log" folder.
Then, head over to Adium and access the contact info. Click on “Events” and select the following options: "Contact Signs On", "Contact Signs Off", "Contact becomes idle", "Contact goes away", "Contact returns from idle", and "Contact returns from away". Click on the “+” icon for each event and choose "Run an Applescript". After that, browse the "Adium Status Log" folder and select the appropriate script for each contact. Save the changes by hitting “OK” but make sure not to select "Delete after event occurs". From there on, all the status changes will be logged in the "Adium Log.txt" file placed in the same folder.
