Aero GTK theme for GNOME modified from Vista offering unique design elements.
As part of the GNU project, GNOME can work seamlessly with different Unix-like operating systems, especially Linux, and is also embedded in the Java Desktop System in Solaris. Originally, the GNOME acronym stood for GNU Network Object Model Environment, but this term is deprecated.
The GNOME project's primary focus is on simplicity, usability, and seamless performance with a motto of making things "just work." Aero's design incorporates such values, making it an excellent addition to the GNOME desktop environment.
