Anarchy Linux aims to offer a lightweight variation of Arch Linux that can be loaded via USB or CD-ROM.
However, it's essential to keep in mind that Anarchy Linux is a Pre-Alpha software meant for testing and demonstration purposes only. Therefore, it's not fully developed, and you should not install it directly on your hard drive. Some features are not completed as of yet.
The release of Anarchy Linux was delayed for few days due to some technical issues that needed to be resolved before launching the distro officially. Once you have downloaded and saved the ISO image, you need to burn it to a CD-RW or DVD-RW disc to use it. However, you can also use a regular CD-R, which can't save sessions back to it, but it can be used to install it on USB keys or make copies for your friends to try it out.
In its Pre-Alpha Release, Anarchy Linux has three options to use- LiveCD mode only, C2R or Copy to RAM, and Live CD with Swap partition. Although it is called a live CD, it works on USB too. A detailed guide on the wiki will be written soon to assist the users.
We would appreciate your feedback on this release to help us improve it. Therefore, kindly leave a comment and tell us how we can serve you better either by commenting directly or on the forums.
