Anglify is a language translation software that converts multiple languages into English.
This software operates in a straightforward manner. It marks each word with one or more word-type attributes, such as "noun/sf," and then attempts to apply a few straightforward grammatical rules to minimize the number of possible English translations per non-English word. However, this program sometimes struggles in achieving the desired results since it only has a limited amount of rules. Therefore, when it generates a sentence, each word may have multiple possible English translations.
Furthermore, Anglify automatically detects the input language by identifying simple words that are distinctive of each non-English language, such as "sunt" for Latin. However, it is important to note that Anglify is not meant as a replacement for learning other languages. The program will never aim to provide a conclusive translation because such a goal is unrealistic. Instead, the program provides an inconclusive result that allows the user to make informed judgments about the original meaning.
It is critical to understand that this software is distributed under the GNU Public License, as shown in the COPYING file, which means that it is provided as-is and is used at your own risk. Additionally, Castellano is the proper name for the language known as Spanish in the New World, and Spain has four official languages.
Lastly, the most recent release offers minor improvements to the dictionaries.
