This software offers a component library that enables programmers to add geographic views to their programs. It contains compiled units that are compatible with Delphi 5, 6, and 7.
With APMap, you can use various methods to assign colors to map objects, and then tweak their properties to get the best visual representation of data. There are also several sample map patterns included in the setup, but if you prefer, you can also use the APMap Editor utility to create your own vector-based multilayer drawings.
Using the APMap Editor, you can vectorize your map, import DXF drawings, select an active layer for data output, and bind objects of this layer to corresponding territories in your database (assign codes of territories to map objects). In addition, you can use either the TAPMapData component, which generates numeric data from within your program, or the TAPDBMapData component, which loads data from your database, and display them on the visual component TAPMapDataView (a descendant of TAPMapView component).
Lastly, the software allows you to either include your map pattern into your application, or keep it in a separate file that can be opened by your program when necessary. If you want to learn more about APMap, feel free to visit the APMap Page.
