Astitray is a software that enables automatic dialing through an XMLRPC framework via a tray icon tool.
One of the best things about Astitray is that it boasts a range of key features that make it worth using, including a central address book that users can easily search in, an ability to launch a dial instruction from the address book, and the ability to launch a dial from a phone number saved in the clipboard. Plus, users will be happy to discover that they do not need manager access to Asterisk on the desktop application.
In order to use Astitray, it's important to ensure you have several key requirements on hand. Firstly, you'll need GTK+ version 2.10.x or better, as well as gconf2, libglade2, libgnome2, and libgnomeui. Last but not least, you'll also need libsoup 2.2 or better in order to use Astitray effectively.
