Atropos-SB records and archives sound through various channels such as microphone, telephone, radio stations, and voice modems. The software operates as a phone logger and automatic voice notebook, storing data on a PC.
The software is built on the foundation of a PC-compatible personal computer equipped with a sound card. For multi-channel mode, you will need to install several sound cards in your computer. The information on the recorded talks is kept in the database, allowing you to view the database and play the recorded talks without interrupting the ongoing recording.
Thanks to the Voice Activated System (VAS), the software's recording algorithms only start recording whenever they detect a signal. Additionally, the sound compression algorithms drastically reduce the required disk space dimension, ensuring that the database doesn't take up too much room.
Atropos-SB is easy to use, and the program works in the background mode, causing minimal load to the processor (less than 1% Intel CeleronTM 1000 MHz power). Your computer runs smoothly without disruptions while you use the software. The system can also function in web-monitoring mode, allowing you to monitor Atropos-SB situated at a distance of thousands of kilometers using any IP-connection, such as a direct modem connection, LAN, or Internet. Or you could use the program in web-report mode: remote Atropos-SB can send all records from the daily database on the Web-monitor itself.
Atropos-SB doesn't require any special knowledge to operate and works in automatic mode, negating the need for special maintenance. Overall, we recommend Atropos-SB as an excellent addition to your sound recording and archiving needs.
