This software lets you extract audio tracks from your personal DVDs. It supports AC3 and 16bit LPCM formats and is easy to use.
For those who might be unfamiliar with standard DVDs, they are typically divided into titles, each containing one or more audio tracks in different languages and with a varying number of channels. Each title is also subdivided into chapters, which for musical DVDs, correspond to individual songs.
Using Audio Extractor, you need only to choose the title and related audio track (only AC3 and 16bit LPCM allowed), and then decide on the type of extraction you prefer. This can either be all chapters/songs, or just one chapter/song. Once you've made your selection, the application will create a folder with the chosen name and generate a number of files equal to the number of chapters in the selected title.
Please note, however, that in order to enjoy encrypted DVD support, you will need to have a VLC media player installed on your system. Audio Extractor does not have the means to decrypt protected DVDs, so VLC is needed to perform this function. Additionally, it is important to install the extra tools available in the download section of the program in order to use it.
Finally, keep in mind that Audio Extractor is intended only for personal use, and improper use of the tool will be solely the user's responsibility.
