Avira DriveNet allows for easy mounting of remote hard drives through LAN/WAN/Internet, even if the remote computer's operating system is not working, using any network connection.
One of the advantages of using Avira DriveNet is that it provides a secure, simple, and fast solution for emergency use. Additionally, the software allows for scanning, testing, and repairing of drives. Other benefits include the recovery of damaged file systems and deleted files, remote offline virus scan on remote PC without working operating system, a solution ideal to detect and eliminate root kits, copy, delete, add and edit files and folders, and setting, deleting and editing file attributes and rights. Furthermore, Avira DriveNet allows you to reset lost Windows passwords via the network/Internet and change of group membership.
However, the software does have some limitations, and these include that the Installation Kit comes fully featured, but the update service (FUSE) is disabled.
