Battlemech project is a multiplayer game featuring mechs which is played from a top-down perspective. The game is fast-paced and action-packed, providing an enjoyable multiplayer shooting experience.
Built on a revamped version of the Quake engine and written in QuakeC, this game has undergone several upgrades. The latest version now presents various changes, bug fixes, and new features, including a remedy for the turning head bug. Another new feature is the modifiable camera angles, which allows mappers to fix a map's camera position and angle. In addition, it's possible to create camhelpers that can temporarily modify the angle.
Also included in the upgrade is a new and improved start.bsp that uses the fresh camera angle system. Players can evaluate it by walking below the platform to view the difference. The release appends modifications to the frikbot source. Consequently, they can now aim at objectives without the need to head towards them for maximum efficiency.
Lastly, gamers can now see an enlarged model of the laserdrone, making it more visible to players hence less difficult to identify. All these amazing features make Battlemech an excellent choice for gamers who enjoy mech-inspired action games.
