Bayani offers a cost-free and open-source scientific environment for researchers to conduct experiments and analyze data.
The software has an impressive array of features that are highly applicable to symbolic computation and scripting. These features can be localized in a specific language, and it is released under the GPL License. The application provides an excellent platform for people to work out solutions for plotting and data representation, linear data fittings, and even symbolic computation.
Some of the standout features of Bayani include 2D graphics, including function drawing via a fast interpreter, data visualization, histograms, and 2D graphs with asymmetric error bars. Additionally, the possibility of drawing many graphs in one frame, savable in PNG format. Symbolic computation is also possible, including expression evaluation and simplification and function derivation.
Bayani is fully localized to Arabic and French, which means a localized interface, symbolic computation, script, and drawing. And there is more- highly customizable drawings allow for graphical attributes, graph superimposition, logarithmic, and/or reversed axes, settable graph bounds, and much more.
There are some installation requirements for Bayani, with QT3 being a necessary one. It should be noted that autotools are not yet implemented, which means that in order to compile Bayani, it is necessary to tell 'make' where your QT path is. However, the process is relatively simple, and you only need to follow a prompt for instructions.
