Blue Moon is a Unix-based solitaire software project.
To make a move, you can only move a card to a space that matches the left neighbor in suit and is one rank higher. Kings are the highest cards, so they can't be placed to the right. These moves create dead spaces that can't be filled.
When no moves are available, the game shuffles any cards that are out of sequence and deals them face up after the partial sequences, leaving a card space after each sequence. This creates a row with 14 cards. The game can't last for more than 13 deals.
A good score is 1-3 deals, while 4-7 is average, and 8 or more is poor. This game is challenging yet entertaining and will keep you engaged for hours.
The latest release of Blue Moon project has focused on changes in the packaging, ensuring that it's easier to install and play. If you're a fan of solitaire games, then Blue Moon project is definitely worth checking out.
