This Firefox add-on saves permission settings within bookmarks for easy access and management. Ideal for users who frequently navigate websites that require specific permissions.
One feature of Bookmark Permissions is that when you open a new tab from a bookmark, the saved permission settings will be automatically applied. This can save you time and effort in adjusting permission settings for each new tab you open.
While Bookmark Permissions does not affect browser global options, it is still affected by them. For example, if your browser's "Enable JavaScript" option is disabled, Javascript will not work even if Bookmark Permissions' permission setting allows it. Both the browser's global option and the extension's permission must allow Javascript for it to work.
In case you want to disable Javascript by default but allow it for specific bookmarks, you may consider using "Tab Permissions" or other tab-based permission controllers alongside Bookmark Permissions. This can give you more control over which bookmarks are allowed to use certain features.
