Bookmark Quick Folder is a Firefox add-on that simplifies the bookmarking process by allowing users to quickly choose the destination folder.
Another great feature of Bookmark quick folder is the new item menu Move, which is found in the bookmarks panel contextual menu. Once you click on it, a dialog appears that lets you select the destination folder by typing just a part of its path or by clicking on the list of choices that pops up.
There are also some advanced features available, such as the ability to perform case-sensitive searches. This means that the folder search will respect the case, so "english" will not match against "English". Another feature that is available is the use of keywords. If this option is selected, it is possible to enter several keywords as a search string (separated by spaces). Each of them must match the folder path for a match.
Finally, Bookmark quick folder provides an option to limit the search to a sub-tree of the bookmark hierarchy. By default, all folders in the bookmark hierarchy are considered during the search. However, it's easy to modify the software to search only a sub-tree of the hierarchy.
Overall, I found Bookmark quick folder to be an extremely helpful tool in organizing my bookmarks. It's a must-have for anyone who has a lot of bookmarks and wants to keep them organized. The software requires Firefox 1.5 or later, and it's definitely worth the download.
