The Finder software allows users to modify the data on their recordable media, making it easy to change and update content as desired. With this software, users can quickly and easily manage their media files without the need for specialized tools or technical expertise.
The software integrates into the Mac OS X Desktop, and the CD or DVD is re-mounted like a hard disk volume directly in the Finder. One can add or remove files and modify them as per their choice. The changes can be made at any time and then burned to the disk. BurnAgain FS supports preserving of Mac file attributes (resource forks) and uses the ISO9660 rock ridge standard.
The best part about the software is that it does not erase the disk during burning; it only adds newly modified or changed content and makes removed items inaccessible. As a result, an already burned disk can be re-used efficiently until it is full. Moreover, adding new items to the disk becomes much faster than erasing and burning a new disk.
However, it is important to note that each session added can increase the session overhead, in addition to the newly added content. Also, if BurnAgain FS is not used from the start, disks using ISO9660 rock ridge standard, which are not closed, can be appended by BurnAgain FS. Overall, the BurnAgain FS software offers a convenient and efficient way to reuse disks multiple times, without the need to create numerous volumes.
