CeGCC provides developers with cross-development software tools for Windows CE (PocketPC) platforms.
The goal of the CeGCC project is to provide a consistent and working set of development tools that generate code for Windows CE devices such as PDA's and smart phones. The intended development platforms for this project are the cygwin environment and GNU/Linux systems.
The latest release of CeGCC comes with some impressive updates, including the first stable release of the CeGCC tool family. The release also offers two types of tool sets namely: arm-wince-mingw32ce-* tools (recommended) and arm-wince-cegcc-* tools (which includes unix-like layer).
Notably, all the RPM files are created on a Mandriva Linux system. Although they probably work on other distributions, it's essential to note that this information was included because the new release script did not name the files properly.
