"Offering measurement, management, and statistical analysis of jump and run events across multiple platforms, this software provides a comprehensive solution for sports enthusiasts." (24 words)
The flight time of a jump serves as an indicator of the elevation of the jumper's center of gravity (provided the starting and ending positions are the same). With ChronoJump, users can register any type of jump with their desired number of repetitions, while also independently recording contact and flight times, extra loads, height of fall, jump limitations, and technique descriptions. The software also employs a small Sqlite database to connect jumps to specific subjects and sessions, making it easy to compare and analyze events.
ChronoJump's versatility allows for the creation of new types of jumps with customized variables. In addition, it is a multi-platform system programmed in C# using Mono, which has been tested and proven to work seamlessly in GNU/Linux, MacOSX, and Windows.
The software includes a range of statistics, from averages to maximum values, across one or multiple sessions, and distinguished by sex. All statistical data is presented in graphs generated with the NPlot graphical library, and all jumps can be exported to spreadsheets in CSV format. Furthermore, users can create customized reports of all data and statistics in HTML format.
Overall, ChronoJump is a reliable, user-friendly software that offers a complete toolkit for measuring, managing and analyzing jump events.
