CIDTracker is a software that decodes and displays caller ID information from a CID modem or server. It provides a user-friendly interface for managing incoming calls and identifying callers quickly.
CIDTrackerX has a variety of options for handling Caller ID information such as displaying a list of received calls, running an AppleScript when a call comes in, and sending a customized E-Mail. Additionally, if an individual number comes in, users can run a specific AppleScript or tell Growl to display a notification.
The program has several key features, such as its ability to decode Caller ID information from a modem attached to the Macintosh, as well as receive CID info from CIDTrackerX operating in server mode on a networked computer. It can also receive CID info from a networked computer running a Caller ID server supporting the NCID protocol, CallerID Sentry, or a program that supports that protocol like the ACID Program for the 3Com Audrey. It can even receive CID info from a Yet Another Caller ID (YAC) compatible server.
The program offers a 30-day trial period for users to test it out. Unregistered copies are fully functional; however, there is a 50-50 chance that when Caller ID info comes into CIDTrackerX, the display will show "Not Registered" as the name and "111 222-3333" as the number.
