The Computational Linguistics Toolset offers various tools to support computational linguistics.
This toolset offers clear and thorough documentation, ensuring that users can fully utilize its features. Furthermore, the package is available free of charge, distributed under the General Public License. With a single download, users can access all the latest versions of tools and the library.
Each of the tools included in this package is well-documented, and a general readme file is also included. In the event of any confusion or if a user has found a bug, they can reach out for support via email.
Many of the tools in this package were initially developed for the Finnish Australian Immigrants Research, and the Goall scripts are still configured for this usage. Moreover, the core sensing tools for disambiguating using the WordNet Similarity tools by Ted Pedersen have been built for speed and are around 10 times faster than previous versions. Some optimizations made for this toolset have also been included in version 0.16 of the WordNet Similarity package.
This latest release of the Computational Linguistics Toolset offers several new features including a CorpusTagsetReducer tool for filtering out tags and tag-types, as well as a RowChecker, TableScaler, and TableTurner tool for examining tags and manipulating tab-delimited output tables. Additionally, various smaller fixes and additions have been implemented. Overall, the Computational Linguistics Toolset offers a comprehensive, user-friendly solution for computational linguistics tasks.
