This XML controllable player eliminates the need for Adobe Flash. Its features include playlist and thumbnail displays, the ability to play crossdomain FLV files, and automatic playback of FLV files. It also shows the total number of videos.
Some of the features that I really liked include the playlist display, thumbnails display, and the ability to play crossdomain flv files. I also appreciated that it was very easy to configure the player to automatically play FLV files through the XML file, and that there was an automated title caption. The on-screen play/pause functionality was also a nice touch, as were the next/previous buttons.
There are a lot of other smaller features that I won't delve into here, but suffice it to say that this is a player that is packed with options. Some of the features that I found particularly useful were the ability to disable/enable autoplay, seeking enabled, buffering message, and playlist replay.
One thing that I thought was really neat was the video reply button, which allows you to replay a video with one click. Additionally, the player displays the total and elapsed time, as well as the percentage of the video that has been loaded. There is even a "next video" display which shows you what's coming up next.
Overall, I would highly recommend this software to anyone who is looking for a reliable and versatile video player. And if that's not enough, the package also includes a FLV Playlist Player [Ver.1] file (worth $3) for free! Plus, the file is updated with the latest version 1.2, so you can be sure that you are getting the most up-to-date software possible.
