CrazyEnglish is a screenlet software designed for learning English-Chinese. It helps users improve their language skills by displaying words and phrases on the screen.
It is essential to mention that CrazyEnglish is a product of Screenlets, the name of both a set of independently-developed widget applications and the widget engine that runs them. The engine operates mostly on X11-based compositing window managers, commonly known as the Compiz (under Linux) architecture.
Before the release of version 0.0.14, Screenlets were exclusively scripted in Python and drawn in SVG. After the update, the software added support for web widgets, which are written in HTML, JavaScript and CSS, similar to widgets for Apple Inc.'s Dashboard.
All in all, CrazyEnglish is an excellent software for individuals who desire to learn English-Chinese. The application is user-friendly and highly functional due to the many features it has to offer as a Screenlet. Additionally, the software is designed to make the learning process drudgery-free, allowing users to enjoy the experience.
