A modular controller that enables free MIDI hardware control.
One of the great things about Ctrlr is that it's completely free, and unlike other comparable programs on the market, it won't cost you a cent. This is especially important given that Apple buried SoundDiver when they bough Emagic, and unfortunately, nothing like this has been made since then.
Another reason to consider Ctrlr is that it works seamlessly with FL Studio, which is one of the most popular DAWs out there. Many other options for doing this kind of work simply don't work the way they should with FL Studio.
Lastly, while there are other MIDI editors out there for older synths, most of these programs are outdated, standalone applications that aren't cross-platform. By contrast, Ctrlr is modern, versatile, and compatible with a wide range of operating systems. Whether you're a professional musician or just an amateur with a synth you want to tinker with, Ctrlr is definitely worth a try.
