Curvus Pro is a software tool that enables users to create and display mathematical curves, both in two- and three-dimensional formats.
One of the amazing features of Curvus Pro is its unique equation editor, which allows you to create complex equations quickly and easily. The software comes with predefined layouts and many drawing options, enabling you to create and export high-quality, professional documents in no time. The intuitive expression syntax makes it easy to operate, and the enhanced 2D and 3D navigation, animations, and real-time 3D manipulation provide additional functionalities.
Curvus Pro supports a wide range of functions, including explicit and implicit equations, parametric curves and surfaces, differential equations, vector and scalar fields, logical relations, and discrete series. It supports several operators, including conditions, sum, product, integral, and more. You can define custom constants and functions, and represent a curve family with variable parameters. The software comes with over 70 functions and 20 constants integrated, including Bessel, error, and Gamma functions, essential for most scientific applications.
With Curvus Pro, you can perform function study and numerical calculation through the interactive representation and calculation of tangents, gradients, osculating circles, partial derivatives, tangent plane, and more. You can integrate and evaluate volumina, areas, and curve lengths, and perform root finding for extremum, inflexion point, or intersection.
Curvus Pro also supports professional layout and export capabilities, with numerous drawing options, optimal quality printing, and exportation to the Clipboard in different standard formats such as PDF, TIFF, and EPS.
Furthermore, Curvus Pro has complex algebrical calculator, sound synthesizer, and custom plug-ins capabilities, providing additional functionalities that meet even more specialized needs.
Curvus Pro has minimal system requirements, making it accessible to everybody. Any Macintosh with 5 Mo free disk space and 3 Mo free RAM will suffice. However, it is recommended to use PowerMacintosh with System 8.5.1 or later, 8 Mo free RAM, and QuickTime 4.0 or later for optimal performance.
The only limitation of Curvus Pro is the registration screen at startup, and it runs on Mac OS Classic only.
Overall, Curvus Pro is an excellent software for anyone who needs to represent mathematical 2D and 3D curves efficiently, accurately and quickly. It is a must-have tool for professionals, students, and laymen alike.
