This software is designed to allow users to view and manipulate high dynamic range images in an interactive and intuitive way. It also features tone mapping capabilities for enhancing the overall quality of the images.
CVLTonemap comes preconfigured with two tone mapping methods: the global Drago 03 method and the local Durand 02 method. Both methods are highly sophisticated and produce stunning results for most HDR images. Being heavily computationally expensive, the software requires a fast graphics card to use interactively. However, the wait is always worth the final result.
To run CVLTonemap seamlessly and smoothly, it requires Qt toolkit version 4.2, or newer. This software provides a user-friendly interface, extensive features, and high-end capabilities for professional media designers, photographers, and artists who demand the highest quality output possible.
