DAPACT is a software that offers SP tags to simplify displaying dynamic content on JSP pages.
To install the DAPACT library, simply place the dapact.jar file in the WEB-INF/lib directory. For those who need to override the properties file that specifies which classes to load for filtering, lookup, and logging, there are two different options available. You can either replace the properties file in the dapact.jar file or create a FullyQualifiedClass.properties file and place it in the classpath before the dapact.jar file.
Suppose the directory /usr/local/jakarta-tomcat/webapps/dapact/WEB-INF/classes is in your classpath prior to the dapact.jar file. In that case, you can place the FullyQualifiedClass.properties file in the /usr/local/jakarta-tomcat/webapps/dapact/WEB-INF/classes/jsp/tags/dapact/conf directory. By carefully following these installation steps, DAPACT should work flawlessly, providing a streamlined solution for those who work with dynamic content on JSP pages.
