Version: 1.2 beta 1DesktopFrames allows you to place BMP, GIF, and JPG images around your desktop and use them as shortcuts.
Operating System: Windows
You can quickly and easily add countless images to your desktop, and associate each one with a specific action, such as launching an application when it is clicked.
An image that has been loaded and displayed is referred to as a 'frame' by DesktopFrames. A frame that contains a BMP or JPG image is always rectangular. One that contains a GIF can be rectangular or non-rectangular depending if its areas are transparent.
Frames can be in one of two different modes: static or interactive. In static mode, the frame is immovable, and the cursor appears as a normal arrow when above it.
In interactive mode, the frame is movable, and the cursor appears as a cross-hair when over the frame.
In addition, you can easily change a frame's mode.
