Dexter-XSL streamlines XSL creation.
Once the decorated source is fed into the Dexter engine, it generates one or more XSLT stylesheets describing the input document, incorporating the editor modifications and any instructions specified by the descriptors. Dexter operates exclusively with extended attributes, which means that most XML content viewers won't notice any changes in the decorated source.
Dexter is available either as a command-line tool or as an embeddable library. The tool does not come with a launch script; instead, users can run Dexter-XSL by typing "java -jar dexter.jar input-file1.html [input-file2.xml ...]" in the command line. Keep in mind that Dexter requires Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 1.5 or later to function properly.
Major feature enhancements have been implemented in the latest version of Dexter, making it an even more effective tool for simplifying XSL production. Overall, Dexter-XSL is an excellent choice for developers and designers who need a powerful tool for XSL production that's easy to use and highly effective.
