DigiCam is a software that provides a command-line interface to Kodak DC21x digital cameras, allowing for easy and efficient management of the camera's functions and data.
Despite my negative experience with my Kodak camera, DigiCam offers a range of options that can help you to make the most of your Kodak DC21x Digital Camera. Among the things you can do with DigiCam are display camera or specific picture information, display the number of pictures in the camera, delete any picture from the camera, and delete all pictures from the camera in one step. Additionally, you can take a picture, save to file, and delete the picture from the camera in one step.
Perhaps the most useful feature of DigiCam is its ability to retrieve any picture and save it to a file. You can also retrieve all pictures and save them to the current directory as imageNNN.jpg. Before taking a picture, you can set the resolution to High or Low, set the picture quality, set the flash mode, and set the zoom value.
To get started with DigiCam, simply run "cam" without any parameters to see a complete list of all the possible options. Some options can even be combined to make it possible to use DigiCam inside scripts. However, it is important to use common sense and avoid combining options that won't work well together, such as -d and -R or -t and -d. Overall, DigiCam is a great tool for anyone who wants to get the most out of their Kodak DC21x Digital Camera.
