Display Quota is a Thunderbird add-on that shows the status of your IMAP storage limit.
One crucial feature of Display Quota is that it will only function effectively if your mail server has an IMAP quota set. Moreover, it works only with IMAP quotas and servers that advertise the quota status when you use the IMAP GETQUOTA command. Some mail servers function with disk quotas, and they can send you an email when your mailbox reaches its quota. However, this is not a real IMAP quota system, and the IMAP server may not advertise it.
Another important point to note is that Display Quota now works with Thunderbird 2.0 and supports different languages such as da-DK, en-US, es-ES, it-IT, pt-BR, ru-RU, zh-TW, de-AT, es-AR, fr-FR, ja-JP, pt-PT, and tr-TR.
Lastly, Display Quota has minimal requirements, as it works with Thunderbird 0.9 - 1.5.0.*ALL. The latest version of this extension, 0.10.1, comes with more translations for the convenience of the user.
