The DiTone Audio Unit plugin splits an input signal into two separate streams, allowing for independent processing of each stream.
The two streams are processed with different filters; one being lowpass filtered, while the other is highpass filtered. These filters are designed to overlap in a musical way for an optimal listening experience. The final step is to mix both streams together, which can be adjusted via independent volume controls.
DiTone boasts a plethora of effects like tremolo, panning, chorus, vibrato, and flanger. Users can choose up to twelve effects to apply to each stream and customize the parameters for each. This level of customization enables users to create unique modulation effects for their music.
To run DiTone, users must have an Audio Unit Host available. With its extensive range of effects and customizable features, DiTone is a must-have software for any music producer looking to add depth and complexity to their sound.
