Manage templates with ease using the admin interface of our software, allowing you to efficiently edit and customize design layouts.
This application was inspired by dbtemplates and has been developed to meet the changing needs of the Django community. To install Django-templatesadmin, simply follow these instructions:
1. Add Django-templatesadmin to your INSTALLED_APPS setting.
2. Include the line (r'^templatesadmin/',include('templatesadmin.urls')) in your urlconf.
3. Create a group TemplateAdmins to manage user access.
4. Point your web browser to and start editing templates.
There are also a number of optional settings that you can use to customize Django-templatesadmin for your specific use case. This includes the ability to define the name of your group of TemplatesAdmin Users, set the file extensions that are editable, and define the specific directories you want your users to edit.
In addition to customization options, Django-templatesadmin also includes a number of useful features, such as edithooks. Edithooks are callables that allow you to interact with changes made on a template and create a plugin system. There are two builtin edithooks: dotbackupfiles.DotBackupFilesHook and GitCommitHook. However, users can also define their own edithooks using the above hooks as an example.
Finally, it's worth noting that there are no external dependencies required for this app, and users simply need to enable django.contrib.auth and django.contrib.sessions in their INSTALLED_APPS settings. Overall, Django-templatesadmin is a highly recommended tool for Django developers looking to streamline their workflow and improve their productivity.
