Tray Folder is a software that creates a secure and hidden folder accessible through a tray icon, ensuring protection for files and folders. It enables users to hide confidential information when not in use.
When you start the program, an icon will appear in your tray showing the date. Simply right-click on the tray icon to access the selection for your 'Launcher' tray folder, and put anything you want in it. The best part? No advertisement trying to sell you things that you do not want or need. This tool makes it easy to launch the programs, files, and/or folders you have put in your launcher tray folder. The launcher tray folder is located under your profile on the computer and adopts your profile's name. For example, my launcher tray folder is named John's Tray Folder.
The software also includes another tray folder, called the secure tray folder, which is password-protected, and you can create your password for it. With the secure tray folder, you can store your personal files and folders to protect them. You can access this folder through the tray icon only when you permit it. This tool also includes a 'Backup' feature and a 'File Encryption' feature, making it easier to protect your information. You can even use your secure tray folder as a directory, and put other folders in it. Plus, you can auto-start Tray Folder when your computer starts. There's also a "Titlebar Time" feature that displays the date and/or time in the active window's title bar.
In summary, this tool allows you to hide anything securely in your hidden/secure tray folder. Nobody can see what you've hidden unless you want them to. And best of all, this is a budget-friendly software, with the registered version costing only $ 7.98, providing you with a compelling reason to use it. Indeed, Tray Folder keeps the personal aspect of your computer entirely intact.
Version 2.04: This is a major update in the (Hidden)Tray Folder program. The secure tray folder is located in the users "My Documents" folder. And, presto, we have (Documents)Tray Folder.
