DroidBattles is a Unix/X11 game that lets you program robots to battle each other.
Once you have selected your hardware, it is time to program your robot. DroidBattles uses an assembler-like language which allows for easy programming of virtual RAM. The program that you create is then executed by the CPU devices included in your robot while communicating through simple in/out instructions.
Some of the standout features of DroidBattles include team-battles and the ability to forge your own game rules, where you can enable/disable different hardware devices and even set cost limits. Additionally, you can make your robot stand out with unique graphics that show during gameplay.
Finally, when everything is set, you assemble the program, and a .bot file is created. This file can be tested against other bots in the simulator, where you can see how it performs against the competition. Overall, DroidBattles is a great game with plenty of opportunities to express your creativity and test your skills in robot battle strategy. So, download DroidBattles now and crush the opposition with your own bot design!
