DVZEEC software offers a comprehensive suite of scripts and user-friendly interface to capture, convert and burn DV movies onto CDs.
This software project comprises five key parts: Movie Grabbing, Automatic Subtitle Generation, Conversion Process, Output Verification, and CD Burning. To achieve these goals, the project employs the following tools: dvgrab (for Movie Grabbing), Written/developed by me (for Automatic Subtitle Generation), transcode (for Conversion), Written/developed by me (for Output Verification), and Linux commands (for CD Burning).
The current release of DVZEEC includes several important updates and corrections that users will find useful. These include the correction of problems with long filenames for DIVX players, a bug fix for SRT hour generation, updates to prevent crashes while converting to xvid, more insightful information display during SRT generation, and fixes for crashes when trying to play video without a XVID file present.
