EagleEyeOS Professional 2.0 protects network data from unauthorized access and modification. It ensures that only authorized users can read, copy, and edit files.
FLT is a unique feature that enables users to trace the activities that a file undergoes from the time it was created. It tracks all file operations, which include opening, modifying, deleting, and moving it. Additionally, FLT also keeps a log of the file's parallel life-tracks with branches, making it easier to search for the file lifecycle from queried reports.
Device Handling
This feature allows users to establish an access policy for communication media devices such as floppy disks, CD/DVD drives, USBs, Bluetooth devices, among others. Its most significant advantage is that it blocks all devices, whether or not they are connected to the host. Users can control the devices' access, which enhances data protection.
Quarantine
Quarantine is a special protection unit that enables users to create separate territories for their documents. This means that access to data movement is controlled within the area and beyond. The feature allows users to define approved users, applications, printers in the area and specify the path to which data can be exported to. Local and Domain Administrators' information is separated, and the same application can run in and outside of the quarantine separate from each other.
Notebook Handling
FLT runs on the kernel level of the system, which provides users with the possibility of maintaining defined rules even when they lose connection with the network. Users can disable Bluetooth devices, pen-drives on a notebook removed from the network. The feature logs users' processes locally with the disconnection and reconnection time, and synchronizes the rules and logs when the device reconnects to the server.
Printer
This feature allows users to create predefined printer rules. With these rules, users can determine which printers can be used or blocked on a certain host, which helps control printed data. Overall, FLT is an excellent tool that enables users to maintain control over their devices and data access policies.
