EchoMac software enables access to the Echolink network for Amateur Radio communication.
Although EchoMac can only connect to one station at a time, it allows users to connect to conference servers and have group chats with as many stations as the server supports. To ensure a smooth conference call, all participants must connect to the same conference server.
The requirements for using EchoMac are minimal: BSD Subsystem, audio input device (selected by Sound preference panel before launching EchoMac) and an internet connection. EchoMac is highly recommended for amateur radio users on Mac OS X who want to connect and communicate with other operators around the world.
