Eclipsedarcs is an Eclipse IDE project aimed at integrating the distributed version control system Darcs. It seeks to improve workflow for Darcs users working within Eclipse.
Once you're set with the necessary requirements, installation is a breeze. Just start up Eclipse and go to Help > Software Updates > Find and Install. From there, select "Search for new features to install," hit 'Next,' and press "Add update site." Enter a name for the site and add the URL (or choose a daily mirror of sf.net site) before selecting "OK." Check the checkbox and hit "Next."
If you access the internet through a proxy server, you'll need to let Eclipse know. To do this, go to Window > Preferences > Install/Update. Alternatively, you can download the entire update site from the sourceforge file release site and follow the same steps as above.
This latest release of Eclipsedarcs is primarily focused on bug fixes, but there are some exciting new features as well. UI actions have been reworked to better handle Darcs repositories in the workspace. It's now possible to invoke "darcs check" and "darcs repair" directly from the IDE. Finally, support has been added for the renaming of "current" to "pristine" in the Darcs metadata folder. Try Eclipsedarcs today and streamline your development process!
