Enveria IDE is a fast application development software with easy-to-use graphical interface. It enables you to produce durable and sophisticated graphical user interfaces.
One of the major features of Enveria is its user-friendly interface that is easy to use for those familiar with IDE software or those who are not. It is backed up by the power of the ubiquitous C programming language which is fast, stable, powerful, portable, and has a long history of use in computing. Enveria also uses the widget set of GTK+ which is well-supported and available for all major desktop operating systems.
With Enveria, users have the capability to produce codes without compiling and enhance their applications manually before building. Programming languages, libraries, databases, and frameworks used to develop Enveria include C, MySQL, SQLite, and GTK+2. Currently, Enveria RAD IDE is mainly supported on Linux, but other operating systems like Mac OS X, Minix 3, BSD, and others are being evaluated.
The requirements for using Enveria include GTK+ version 2.10.x, SQLite, and MySQL (mandatory on Linux). In the latest release of the GPL version of Enveria RAD IDE, we have included both Linux and Windows versions. The Linux version is more stable than the Windows version, and both require a minimum of GTK+2 and SQLite. The Linux version is dependent on MySQL, while the Windows version is not. Although you can use the program on Windows, you may experience some issues with GTK, and once it comes time to save, you may find that it crashes. This problem will be resolved soon, and we hope to enable building applications on Windows with Enveria shortly. Building on Linux requires usual tools such as GCC and Make.
