"Print text files on Epson-compatible dot matrix printers with ease using Epsprint - a user-friendly software solution." (22 words)
To install Epsprint, simply download it from the FTP and extract it using an archive program like bzip2. If you don't already have bzip2, you can find it on www.bzip2.org. Afterward, compile it using "make all" and install it with "make install". Once it's installed, test it out by running "epstest" and then piping the output to "lpr".
For usage, you'll want to consult the epsprint(1) manual page. It's pretty comprehensive, so you should be able to find everything you need to know there. But if you run into any problems or incompatibilities, feel free to let the creator know. And if everything works great and you're satisfied with the program, consider sending them an email with your printer's name and any other useful info.
One thing to note is that the creator is searching for EPSON printer control codes specification or something similar. They have a printer that can do a lot of things but aren't sure how to access all of them. So if you happen to have any knowledge in that area, they'd appreciate it if you got in touch with them.
