Eve Online Emulator enables private servers and offline gameplay for EVE Online, serving as a server emulator.
The latest release of the emulator boasts several exciting new features and improvements. Most notably, this update has included a significant revelation with destiny updates, which has resolved the "jumpy" movement issue in space. Additionally, there has been a much better understanding of the binary destiny update structure, along with significant work on the destiny manager.
In this release, the server now tracks client movement for warp, goto direction, and follow movement modes, with only orbit being the major mode still pending. Although the initial drone launching code is not yet fully operational, there has been a bunch of makefile cleanup.
Furthermore, this update has added support for the ".." element in the config file to cache the cache files, as well as implemented a keepalive ping to hold idle sessions open. Also included in this update is support for server-originated messages such as error, infomodal, and notify. Additionally, persistent attributes are now auto-stored, and there has been a fix for crashes when jumping between systems.
Some other notable implementations include the owner note feature, which has been fully implemented, and the corporation channel creation and logo fixes. There has also been a bunch of other corporation creation stuff included in this release. Overall, this update has significantly improved the Eve Online Emulator, making it a must-have for any Eve Online gaming enthusiast.
