exifDate is a menu tool that enables users to modify the modification date of JPEG images using the exif information date.
This simple yet effective software will allow you to keep your images organized and easily searchable based on their actual shoot date. To use exifDate, all you need is the exif requirement, which most photographers should already have.
Installation is straightforward - extract the files and copy the exifDate.desktop to the appropriate folder. For a single user installation, copy it to ~/.kde/share/apps/konqueror/servicemenus/ or for a global installation, copy it to /usr/share/apps/konqueror/servicemenus/ as root. Once installed, simply restart konqueror to start using exifDate.
In the latest release of exifDate, a Russian translation has been added thanks to Serguey Khvatov. Overall, exifDate is a great tool for photographers looking to keep their images organized and accurately dated.
