Fame Kalibrator quantifies fame and measures the relationship between famous people in numerical terms. Use this software to determine who is more popular.
Some interesting queries you can perform include: Paris Hilton Vs Madonna, The Beatles Vs Rolling Stones, Luck Vs Destiny, Love Vs Sex, Marilyn Monroe Vs Arthur Miller, and Marlon Brando Vs James Dean. These comparisons are based on the most popular and recognizable individuals or concepts, so it's an exciting feature!
To install and use the software, simply unpack the archive, navigate to the kalibrator directory, and run "python kalibrator.py" in your terminal. Alternatively, you can turn the archive into an executable and run "./kalibrator.py." Keep in mind that the program requires the PyQT module (if you've installed Amarok, you already have it).
This version of Fame Kalibrator includes a new feature that allows you to download images and a redesigned interface for an improved user experience. Special thanks to Swaroop C H and their qpicsearch for inspiring and providing examples of querying the Yahoo API from Python.
