This software uses 256-bit Rijndael block cipher to encrypt files ensuring maximum data security. It is approved by NIST as the Advanced Encryption Standard, FIPS-197.
Using File Encrypter is a simple and straightforward process. For file encryption, users simply need to browse and select the file they wish to encrypt, enter a password in the password field (that should be at least 6-10 digits long and contain both alphabets and numbers or preferably symbols), retype the password, select the file naming convention (leaving it to modify is recommended), and then press the Encrypt (Red) button.
On the other hand, file decryption is made just as easy. Users only need to browse and select the encrypted file they wish to decrypt, type the previously used password, retype the password, select the file naming convention, and then press the Decrypt (Green) button.
File naming conventions are likewise easy to understand. In Append Mode, the filename will be appended with either .encr or .decr for each encryption or decryption process. In Rename Mode, a file encrypted with the filename abc.txt.encr, for instance, will be renamed as abc.decr.txt after it has been decrypted and restored to its original filename.
As a bonus, File Encrypter uses the 256-bit cipher Rijndael approved by NIST's FIPS-197 for its algorithm to ensure your files' utmost level of security. Overall, Arpan Jati's File Encrypter is a reliable software for anyone looking to secure their sensitive and confidential files.
