File Grabber is a software that helps users to save information about their files in any format into the clipboard, including file path and name, dates, size, comments, and title. It also enables the creation of catalogs for music and videos, disks, zip disks, CD's, and DVD's.
One of the most impressive features of File Grabber is its ability to save virtually any type of file information that you need, including the path and name, comments, title, author, subject, dates, and size, among others. This makes it possible to create customized catalogs of all types of files, including music and videos, disks, zip disks, CD's, and DVDs.
To get started, simply select the files you want to work with by using the directory or volume tree view in Windows Explorer or the list view window. If you want to select files from a directory, you can use the Directory File Selection Window to specify the criteria you're looking for, including subdirectories if needed.
Next, decide which information you want to include for each file in the File Information Window. This may include the Volume and Path, file attributes, and Summary Information Fields like comments, subject, page count, and others of your choosing.
Finally, choose your desired output format in the Format Entries Window, where you can specify which separator character to use between each field (default: space), create a header record that identifies the fields you've chosen for each file, and select whether to make the volume, path, filename, and file extension separate fields.
File Grabber is just one of the many productivity tools included in the CAVU Software Productivity package, which offers utilities and shell extensions that can help you expand your computer management capabilities. Additionally, this software is available at a promotional half-price as part of the CAVU Productivity Package, and you can easily register or uninstall any of the included programs as needed.
