Filezap is a disk examination software that displays file internals in hexadecimal and ASCII form. It enables file examination in record-sized segments of arbitrary length and search capabilities.
With Filezap, you'll be able to examine files in record-sized segments of any length you choose. Plus, you can easily search for both hexadecimal and ASCII patterns within the file.
Another key feature of Filezap is its ability to decode byte patterns into various data types, such as bytes, integers, floating point, and Microsoft Visual Basic's data types, including currency, date/time, and Boolean.
Once you've identified areas of the file that require modification, you can make direct changes in the file and then write the changes back to the original disk copy.
In addition to these features, Filezap also includes global cut, copy, paste, fill, and search-and-replace operations that work on both text and binary files. You can also execute chop, paste, and fill operations on a specific range of records within the file.
To facilitate printing, Filezap allows you to easily print records from any file in both hexadecimal and ASCII format. Overall, Filezap is an incredibly robust and useful software for anyone who needs to examine or modify files in detail.
