Scandisk creates its own set of files in the folder named FOUND if it finds FAT chains or MFT records without any corresponding files. These files are usually in the format File0001.chk, File0002.chk, etc.
While it's possible to rename these files manually, doing so becomes a true nightmare when there are several hundred or even thousands of them to sort through. Fortunately, our software is here to lend a helping hand. By reading each file and automatically determining its file type, our software can rename these files quickly and accurately - turning File0001.chk into File0001.xls, for example, or File0002.chk into File0002.doc.
With our software, you can stop worrying about endless and tedious file renaming and instead focus on using the files you need. If you've ever struggled with the annoyance of file naming during scandisk, our software is the perfect solution. Give it a try today and discover the difference it can make for your workflow!
