Folder Express offers quick access to frequently used folders in Windows Explorer, folder windows, Browse Folder dialogs or Open/Save File dialogs. No need to navigate through all drives and folders anymore.
To start, simply right-click your favorite folder and add it to Folder Express. This program will create a menu of your favorite folders that's easy to navigate. When you want to access a specific folder, all you have to do is click on its corresponding menu item. Gone are the days of navigating through multiple drives and subfolders to get to where you need to go.
Folder Express offers multiple ways to easily access your favorite folders. You can integrate the software into your shell context menu, press a hot key, right-click on window buttons (maximize, minimize, help, or close buttons), or right-click the Folder Express tray icon.
The software is also fully configurable, allowing you to set up your preferred folder hierarchy and assign hot keys to your frequently used folders. You can organize your menu into a layered structure using categories, add separators, and even use mnemonic keys to activate a menu item with a single key press.
In addition to folders, you can add shortcuts to documents, programs, and web addresses. You can use your own icons, customize the menu background, automatically list recently accessed folders and files, and even filter file types in open/save file dialogs.
You can also map folders to drives, edit shortcuts in the places bar that resides on the left side of open/save file dialogs, and customize the "send to" menu in your shell context menu with ease. All in all, Folder Express is a useful tool for anyone who wants to streamline their folder navigation experience.
