Forumzilla is a ThunderBird add-on that lets users read news and blog feeds directly in their email application.
One of the best things about Forumzilla is that it lets you manage feeds with all the regular features of Thunderbird. You can filter, label, search, and view your content according to how you like it. Additionally, Forumzilla allows you to choose whether you want to display entire stories or just summaries, which is configurable per feed.
Forumzilla downloads feeds every 30 minutes or on another schedule that you specify, and it even supports OPML feed lists, which is also known as blog rolls. All common feed formats are supported, including RSS 0.9, 1.0, and 2.0, plus Atom 0.3 and 1.0.
To use Forumzilla, you need to have Thunderbird 0.6 or later. Forumzilla is a great extension for Thunderbird that is easy to use and packed with features that make reading news and blog feeds effortless.
