This software manages and organizes your files and directories in a centralized database.
After thorough testing, we found that Nepomuk generated a 1GB database on similar conditions, consuming about 400MB memory. In contrast, FSRunner produced a mere 3MB database with a 3MB memory footprint. This makes it an excellent option for users looking for a lightweight runner that doesn't hog resources.
To use FSRunner, you can easily configure it to scan specific areas, such as $HOME, and exclude certain files. Scanning the Desktop with a particular depth, then including files, can also be set up to ensure incredibly swift and accurate searches. Say you have the file "Desktop/TODO"; in this case, you can type "todo" in Krunner, and it will efficiently search and locate that file.
Furthermore, FSRunner also allows using an asterisk (*) in searches, expanding its search capabilities exponentially. Overall, it is an excellent software tool for any user looking to streamline their system and search files effectively.
