FTP Server is a high-performance software that allows for background thread transfer, full-featured context menu access from the task tray, and network diagnostics. It includes network card routing table, current connections, bandwidth per adapter, and client logon.
What really stood out to me was the software's ability to efficiently resume broken downloads. With active users and shadow FTP sessions screens, I was able to easily view client logons by IP addresses. The FTP server runs as a service under the Windows operating system platform.
One of the standout features of the software is the extensive network diagnostics offered. This includes information on network cards, routing tables, current connections, and bandwidth per adapter. The software also offers configurable session characteristics, which include maximum users, maximum logon attempts, welcome and exit banners, and a maximum user banner.
I appreciated the ability to perform addition/deletion of multiple users and configure user profiles, such as user ID, password, default directory, allow concurrent logons, limit to default directory, log access, and restrict read/write access. Additionally, the FTP server effectively binds FTP services to specific IP addresses for machines with more than one network card adapter.
Overall, I would highly recommend this software to anyone in need of an efficient and secure FTP server solution.
Version 6.0.0.3: Added support for Vista operating system.
